SBDI Training
School Bus Driver training services include the NY-SED Pre-Service, Basic, Refresher, and Advanced programs for School Bus Drivers and Attendants/Monitors. All School Bus Driver training programs are provided using currently approved curriculum and currently certified SBDI (School Bus Driver Instructors), or appropriate guest speakers monitored by an SBDI.
Note to (school) District-Operated Carriers
While all services are available directly to any fleet operator including school districts, some of our services may be available to you as a component district, through our Agreement with your BOCES, and covered by your Co-Ser.
Entry Level Driver Training
(ELDT) for CDL applicants is continually evolving and will reflect significant changes in requirements. We are always keeping our focus on the road ahead, as we all strive to stay current and compliant.
Drug/Alcohol Awareness Training
To provide the training required by, or to enhance and support a Carrier’s compliance with, the Federally required (USDOT) Drug and Alcohol Testing program. This can include training for both employees and supervisory staff. Employee training includes awareness of the effects of drug and alcohol use in the workplace, and provides a forum for discussion of their questions relative to the drug and alcohol testing requirements they are subject to. The Reasonable Suspicion requirement for training and certification of Supervisory staff in this area can also be accomplished. This training service is also available to non-DOT compliance type employers who wish to establish a drug and alcohol free workplace, and can compliment the drug/alcohol testing program they implement.

Other training programs for your Transportation Staff, Passengers, Parent groups, other Highway user groups, etc. may be available to address your specific needs.
